Ella's first day back at school.

Today was Ella's first day back at preschool, only it was her first day at her NEW school!  We are all very excited about this school year.  She is attending Parkway School District's preschool.  So it's a public school preschool, but you have to pay for it.  We have been very impressed with what we have seen so far.  She was so excited this morning that she decided I was taking to long and asked if Daddy could just bring her since he was ready to go.  I had to inform her that her school did not open for another 45 minutes.  Her teachers Mrs. Kim and Mrs. Sharon said she did really well today.  They connected her with another girl named Bridget for the day.  They said she got a little tired and sad towards the end of the time and was ready to go home by the time I got there.  She will be in this school for this year and next year since her birthday is after the cut off here in Missouri.  So she's technically in PreK-3. The beautiful thing about this preschool is they have 3-5 year olds all in one class.  This helps their social development and communication skills, so they say.  Since it is a classroom that is based on center's and play learning she will be moving a lot and staying active.  They use the centers at times to divide up the ages, but a lot of times they are learning along with each other.  It helps push them to try new things.  Here are some pictures of the big morning.  She's getting so big! We are excited about this school year!
