And the stockings were hung...

Ok so I'm a bit behind on anything Christmas oriented on the blog. But it was a buy crazy month with finals and preparing for our trip to Louisiana.  We have not traveled for Christmas in 3 years so it was a fun chance for all of my siblings and all of our kids to be together with the parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles and all the cousins.

 

These stockings were all knitted by my great grandmother "Grama" before she died.  She made Matt's and then gave me two more without names on them for us to add names as we began to have children.  I think she would have loved to have seen this many of her stockings hanging in one place.  She was a crafty little soul.  I would have loved to have known her more.  I bet we would have had lots of fun things to talk about.  

Maybe more pictures of Christmas to follow.  I'm not promising though.
